The beautiful two-storey Beezley Farm stone cottage dates back to the later 1800s, and required careful consideration during this renovation and restoration project.
AVIE’s expertise in renovation and restoration was sought out to analyse and assess the temporary stability of the structure in a structural assessment during the removal and rebuilding of the gable wall.
While a full structural survey was not required on this occasion, our detailed structural assessment allowed the project team to understand whether the building could be developed and what structural support would be needed to maintain the integrity of the original building while development took place.
The building was found to be sound and suitable for construction, and our report detailed the temporary support that was required during construction to ensure safety for both the building and the project workers.
