Working with Integra Buildings, AVIE were involved at the early stages of the design of the this single storey modular building providing offices, nursery and community facilities.
This purpose built centre is a non-standard modular design which provides large spaces that are fully adaptable and accessible, including the installation of hoists in the changing rooms. This multi-use building comprises a specialist sensory room and soft play area with a secure outdoor space.
Being of modular construction meant that the building could be a fully functioning building in a shorter time than traditional construction.
This purpose built building is working to improve the lives and opportunities of children and adults with learning disabilities, offering support and advice for all the family.
The new Vinery Centre opened in April 2016.
